Denmark against Olive Oil

From now , Denmark the first and the only one country in the world wich established a tax for an "extra fats" in the food, reported Deutsche Welle.
Under a power of the new tax will go all food where the fats content more than a 2,3%.
Local authorities says it will "stimulate" a healthy preferences in food.
Which is sounds very strange and even weird, to say the least, because under such a description falls almost everything which is not a fruits and vegitables.

Hard to imagine, but from the view of Danish goverment, such a useful product as Olive Oil considered as not healthy and will be taxed with an extra 2,15 euro.

Thus traveling to Denmark, don't forget to check your money, because an icecream, or butter or milk or pizza etc, will cost more, in average for 10%.
